The Usual Suspects

April is off to a wet start.  Storms over the last five days have left the golf course extremely saturated.  Rain accumulations have exceeded 3" with more forecasted tonight and tomorrow.  Standing water sits on most areas of the golf course.  The usual suspects (#3, #5, #7, #9, #11, and #18) are the worse areas.

Context is always important on the golf course.  To put rain totals in perspective:

Rain Totals 4/1/22-4/30/22 = 2.61"

Rain Totals 4/1/21-4/30/21 = 1.68"

Although the rain this week has derailed our original plans on the golf course, there are always tasks to be completed.  Course clean-up and ornamental bed clean-up has been the focus this week.

In an unrelated topic, greens aerification is scheduled for Monday 4/10 and Tuesday 4/11, weather permitting.  On Tuesday 4/11, only 9 holes will be open.
