Greens aerification on Monday and Tuesday was successful. The weather was absolutely perfect. The sun and wind dried the sand nicely and made it easier to work the sand into the aerification holes.
We aerified at a 2" depth which is shallower than normal. We wanted to concentrate as much sand as we could in the top 2" of the profile to help firm up the greens. The playability and firmness of the greens will be much better.
