Great Timing

We sliced fairways this week to move a little more air and water into the root zone of the plants.  The timing of this procedure couldn't have worked out any better.  The fairways soaked up the heavy thunderstorms that occurred last night.

In other golf course news, the driving range is filling in nicely.  Warm weather and timely rains have helped move the new seedlings in the right direction.  With some cooperation from Mother Nature, I think we are still on target for an early June opening.

- verticutting greens
- slicing greens
- herbicide applications in the rough
- landscape bed maintenance
- normal weekly golf course maintenance
