The warmer temperatures this week felt much more like spring. I would expect the turf to really start greening up next week as the soil temperatures continue to warm.

Spring is an extremely busy time on the golf course. The number of tasks to complete in preparing the golf course far exceed our personnel. This time of year we take what Mother Nature gives us. Often times, this means juggling many different tasks. This week we:
- mowed greens, tees, and fairways
- sprayed greens
- started irrigation system
- opened golf course bathrooms
- put out golf course accessories
- overseeded driving range tee
- mulched landscape beds around the clubhouse
- continued golf course clean-up

Weather permitting, spring aerification of the greens will occur April 20-21. This will allow for enough time for the greens to heal in before the start of men's league.
