I was able to walk the property this morning.  All is well on the golf course, as it is currently under 7" of snow.  It is certainly good timing as nighttime temperatures look to fall into the teens next week.   Since snow is mostly comprised of air, it is a great insulator.  The newly fallen snow will act as a nice layer of protection for the turf so the plants will not be exposed to the frigid temperatures.

I walked the golf course today and everything looks to be in good shape.  There is nothing really out of the ordinary to report.  The winter has been quite mild.   Temperatures for December averaged 36.2°F for the high and 24.6°F for the low with 1.95" of rain.  It was warm enough that all of the rain had ample time to drain off of the playing surfaces.  Nine days into the month, temperatures have averaged 39.1°F for the high and 31.6°F for the low with .52" of rain. #12 #14
