More rain last night and today totaling 2.5" has left the course extremely wet.  There will be no carts tomorrow, as we will need a couple days to dry out.  We are only twelve days into the month and rainfall totals have already exceeded 4". #17 green #14 green #5 fairway #8 rough #11 fairway

It was another great Monday, as we accomplished a ton. The month is off to a wet and windy start.  Over an 1.25" of rain and high winds made for quite the mess this weekend.  We cleaned up a lot of debris including two large willow limbs that fell behind #12 green and across #13 tee. willow limb that fell across #13 tee willow limb that fell behind #12 green Post-aerification update:   The greens have healed in nicely from aerification.  We made a slight adjustment to our process this year and applied the sand at a shallower depth.  It has made a noticeable improvement in the firmness of the greens.
